Work and Education:
Dr. Bray is a clinical assistant professor and has taught nursing at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing since 2013. Specializing in pediatrics, she has taught undergraduate students through lectures, labs, and clinical settings. She currently teaches full-time in the online graduate DNP nursing program.

Committees:
Dr. Bray currently serves on Nursing School Committees. These include the Graduate Affairs Committee and the Graduate Policy Committee, where she represents the pediatric clinical track. She serves as a volunteer exam item writer for the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) Primary Care Certification Exams.

Articles and Presentations:
Outside the classroom, Dr. Bray contributes to both nursing publications and nursing associations. In 2023, she delivered a presentation called “Improving Covid-19 Vaccine Compliance in Pediatric Primary Care” during the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) national conference in Orlando, FL. She also co-authored a recent article published in Clinical Advisor titled “Children with Special Needs: Keeping them Happy, Healthy, and Immunized” and is co-authoring a chapter in a new Pediatrics and Covid-19 textbook. Moreover, she is an active board member of the Greater Texas Chapter of NAPNAP, serving the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

Community:
Finally, Dr. Alison Bray is involved in her local community. Aside from teaching and spending time with her husband, two sons, and Great Pyrenees, she is a Lake Ray Hubbard Pediatrics provider, serving children in her community. She has served as President and Vice President of her sons’ Texas PTA board and is on the Rockwall Women in Business Association board. Dr. Bray is an active member of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, Texas.
