Work and Education:
Professor Christine Oliver is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing. Specializing in the operating room, her teaching responsibilities include a Perioperative Nursing course and clinical instruction at the Undergraduate level. Her nursing expertise is informed by many years of professional experience working in both hospital and outpatient surgical facilities.

Awards and Presentations:
Professor Oliver was a Daisy Award Nominee at the Louise Herrington School of Nursing in 2020. In 2021, she presented a poster titled "Increasing Perioperative Outpatient Nurses’ Knowledge of Pediatric Anxiety Through Use of a Developed Clinical Guide" at the 2021 Western Institute of Nursing Conference.

Committees:
Professor Oliver serves as an Undergraduate Faculty Advisor and is member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and Educational Technology Committee. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau and National League of Nurses.

Community:
Professor Oliver is very involved in her local community and school district. Aside from spending time with her husband and three children, she volunteers with football, baseball, and cheerleading activities at her local school district. She attends Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
